About Us

Who are We?

Having felt the conviction of God’s call, we left paradise (Southern California) just after our two-year anniversary to head to the mission field.  We spent nearly five years on the West Coast of Ireland serving alongside the local church.  We are currently on sabbatical (Dec. 2019-present) in Ohio, and preparing for our new missionary station in Viana, Portugal.

Skee’s passion is to produce powerful stories through the medium of film. He has an eye for portrait and landscape photography. He also has a serious love of music (he could curate a playlist the most critical audience would love as a non-stop hobby).  He feels most invigorated by a good surf, and deeply loves people.

Sarah is most invigorated by informal conversations that are revelatory of truth and faith.  She has a passion for symbolism-based Christian writing and is currently working on a teen-fantasy series.

Our daughters are ages 4 and 2, and they take the cake in our lives.

Our Missiology

We feel that a missional life is the native path for every believer.  The only distinction is that some of us are indigenous missionaries (present within the culture we come from) while others serve abroad.

For those of us called to become foreign workers, there is nothing superior about our level of faith or maturity from the rest of our family in Christ.  We are in a foreign land simply because we were sent.  Our calling (the belief that God has directed us to go and do and be in this specific place), is bedrock.  We are able to persevere because we know without question that we are where the Lord wants us.

In this, we encourage you to anchor yourself in the calling that you have in your own circumstance & season, knowing that we are all called.  May God bless you as you seek to walk in the calling that He has for you.
